Nairobi,Kenya — Nyali Member of Parliament,Mohammed Ali has wished his Malindi counterpart, Aisha Jumwa, a “speedy
recovery” after she was rushed to an un-named hospital on this morning.
“The hospitalisation of the political leader touches me enormously. I wish her a speedy recovery,
Mohammed Ali said after being informed of the illness of the politician who has been at the forefront of stirring revolt in the opposition led by Raila Odinga.
Aisha Jumwa’s aide, Evelyn Luta, told reporters that her boss had been taken to hospital after complaining of feeling
unwell since Saturday night.
She said she has undergone several tests but the exact nature of her
illness has not yet been disclosed.
Evelyn Luta, who refuses to give the name of the hospital where the Malindi Member of Parliament is being treated for security reasons, said the doctors have
told the politician to rest.
“They will evaluate her situation and …and one fact is certain, she is
well,” she added.
Earlier this week,Aisha Jumwa threatened to expose the rot in the Orange Democratic Movement which expelled her for being disloyal to the party.She blames Raila for her woes linking the opposition chief to the wrangles witnessed within the Orange Democratic Movement Party.

Msambweni were expelled from the Orange Democratic
Movement (ODM) following a decision by the party’s National
Executive Council (NEC).
ODM’s National Executive Council on resolved to adopt a
report by the party disciplinary committee which recommended the
expulsion of the two lawmakers over alleged gross misconduct.
