Deputy President William Ruto now says the opposition Chief,Raila Odinga can now join the Jubilee administration in ensuring the big four agenda is realized by the end of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s term.Speaking in Nairobi today, the Deputy President has urged politicians affiliated to the opposition to emulate the Orange Democratic Movement Chief and embrace the spirit of handshake.
“This is the hour that we have all been waiting for.Kenya is ready for transformation. The former Prime Minister can now apply the energy he wasted on roads to build bridges in this country” Ruto said.
Ruto has warned politicians using the handshake to propagate division in the country threatening to take legal action against them.
In the recent past, William Ruto repeatedly accused Odinga’s opposition militia for the killings that happen in the country every general election.
“Because of the obvious defeat our competitors face, they decide to organise violence in every election. This violence is not spontaneous, it is organised violence. And the violence is supposed to prevent election officials and materials from getting to polling stations,” he said.
The Deputy president has also questioned Gideon Moi’s business with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission after claims emerged that the Baringo Senator is wiring irresistible amounts of money into IEBC commissioners accounts.
